Nobody has the right to hurt you physically or sexually
Sometimes things happen that are hard to talk about. You don't know how people will react. You don't know if talking will make things better or worse. But the fact is, nobody ever has the right to hurt you physically or sexually, even if they are members of your family. You always have the right to feel safe in your own body and to get the help you need.

What can I do?
Breaking your silence can break the power of the abuse. Whether you decide to talk to a friend, a counselor, or a trusted family member, talk to someone who will protect your privacy, help you get the resources you need, and who will strongly support you as you stand up for yourself.

To get help, you may contact us
Our counseling is free, our center is private, and what you discuss with us is kept confidential.

You may also contact RAINN
(Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network)
to speak with someone confidentially.
Phone: 1.800.656.HOPE

The services of licensed counselors and experienced staff are free to Dallas County residents.
