Continuing Education is managed by the Department of Nursing Education, which promotes leadership and education in the community of nursing. We are committed to excellence in teaching, practice, and service to Parkland Health & Hospital System. Our goal is to be a community of mentors, counselors, and instructors guiding professional nurses as bedside clinicians dedicated to professional ideals, learning, and meaningful practice in an advancing technological health care society. The Department of Nursing Education consists of approximately 50 educators, all experts in their field.
