Funding for Victims of Crime Crime affects us everyday. As a trauma hospital, Parkland is committed to providing medical care to patients who were victims of criminal acts. We have access to several programs that could help you or someone you know during a difficult time. These programs include:
Also, by applying for the Crime Victims Compensation program a patient may be eligible to receive payments for lost wages, child or dependent care, certain relocation expenses, etc. If you were a victim of a crime or know someone who was victimized, please call one or come by one of our offices at the hospital. We will gladly explain the different funding programs that may be best for you and your specific needs.
