All throughout the year, Parkland participates in community events to help educate people about health concerns that are common in Dallas County and promote preventive care.
Every Saturday during the month of October, Parkland will provide breast health education for ages 16 and up as well as no-cost mammogram screenings for ages 35 and up. To register and make sure you are eligible for mammograms; please call 214-266-4398.

Blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol ─not sure what your numbers are? The Binational Health Fair will provide health screenings and education to the community.
Parkland will provide the following services:
- Health Screenings: Blood Pressure, Glucose, Cholesterol
- Education and Information on the Victim Intervention Program/ Rape Crisis
- Education and Information on the North Texas Poison Center
