13th Annual Diabetes Management Conference

Join us to learn more about innovative individual and population health approaches to diabetes care and education.

New virtual conference!

Agenda 

The conference is designed for:
Physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, nurses, dietitians, social workers, behavioral health clinicians and diabetes care and education specialists.

How it works:
For the safety of you and others, this year's conference will be a virtual experience, with 7 presentations being available for you to watch at your leisure during the period of Monday, Nov. 16, 2020 through to Saturday January 16, 2021. So whilst we will not be experiencing the conference content together, we hope you receive the same value from engaging in presentations across a diverse range of topics at a time and location that works for your schedule.

Approved:

  • American Academy of Family Physicians: This Enduring Material activity, 13th Annual Diabetes Management Conference, with dates of 11/16/20-1/16/21, has been approved for up to 7.00 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Note: AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
  • Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners: The instructional program represented by this certificate was provided in accordance with the criteria and standards of the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners is approved for 0.7 Continuing Education Units for Social Workers.0.7 Continuing Education Units.
  • American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation: Application approved  for 8.75 Continuing Nursing Education contact hours on completion of all 7 presentations or for 1.25 Continuing Nursing Education contact hours per presentation completed. Parkland Health & Hospital System Dept. of Nursing Education is accredited as a provider of nursing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
