D Magazine recognition honors skill, dedication
Eighteen registered nurses at Parkland Health & Hospital System have been named winners of the 2017 D Magazine Excellence in Nursing Awards, which are designed to shine a spotlight on the unsung heroes of healthcare.
“Having 18 of our nurses receive this very prestigious award says so much about the skill, dedication and talent of all the outstanding nurses at Parkland,” said Karen Watts, RN, MSN, NEA-BC, Parkland’s Executive Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer. “We are extremely proud that once again so many of our nurses have been recognized in this way for their extraordinary care, compassion and dedication to the patients and community we serve.”
