The Dallas County Hospital District Police Department provides a safe and secure environment for everyone who visits the hospital or one of the neighborhood health centers. With an emphasis on safety and customer service, the department’s focus is to provide a sense of peace and order 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To do this, licensed officers enforce all local, state and federal laws, and provide educational and awareness programs for those they serve.

The Police Department’s office is located in the basement of Parkland Memorial Hospital. The administrative office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, although officers are on duty 24/7. For information, please call 214.590.8362.
